Finding comedy after his music career “flopped harder than a fat bloke in the baths,” Mickey Hutton now tours this country and many, many others including Montreal, the Falklands, the Middle East, Hong Kong, Spain, Singapore, the Philippines, Beijing, Amsterdam, Switzerland, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Bangkok, Tokyo and Cyprus. Phew!
He regularly comperes at The Comedy Stores in London, Manchester and Mumbai.
His TV work varies even more than the locations in which he’s performed stand up.
He’s interviewed guests as diverse as Grace Jones and Frank Carson on Sky TV show Saturday Night; acted in comedy drama ‘A Street Car named Kevin’, and alongside Jimmy Nail in ‘Crocodile Shoes'; presented BBC kids’ show ‘Hangar 17′ for 3 years and written for and appeared in ‘Mud’, The Children’s Royal Variety Show’, ‘Something for the Weekend’ and ‘Comedy Rules’. He also presented ‘Hearts of Gold’ with Esther Rantzen and Carol Smillie; and hosted his own quiz show THINK TANK for Channel Four!
